Doggie Decor

Although I have an adorable, teeny, tiny dog just under 7 pounds, I try my very best to treat him like a "big" dog and not a doll. Only for a quick laugh have I dressed him up in dog clothes. The spider costume I bought for him one Halloween was hilarious, but not as hilarious as the look of disgust on his face! My $10 costume was worth about five minutes of painful belly laughs for me, and five minutes of embarrassment for Miguel. The red "Marty McFly" jacket got a little more use last winter but I was unable to button it up due to a few added ounces.

However...I do believe in stylish pet furniture that compliments my decor!

Doesn't he look ready for a new dog bed?

Perhaps Miguel would like a bed that doubles as a side table like this one from Den Haus

Or maybe he's ready for more of a private retreat with a comfy front porch...

This could be my favorite but I'm pretty sure my cat would be the one enjoying this "Mod Pod" from Vurv Design Studio.

And who can resist a classic such as this Le Corbusier inspired sofa bed? Although I've always wanted one for myself, I might just have to splurge and buy this for Miguel's 6th birthday this fall.
