FRINGE? {yes please}

Fringe on my shorts... definitely. Fringe in my kitchen...perhaps.

I love the idea of room dividers that still let you see what's happening on the other side of the space, whether it's a bookcase, curtains, tall indoor plants or any other creative structure. I also like the idea of hiding the kitchen when it's not in use. My talented boss {Erica Smith} at Classic Kitchens & Baths designed a small 'show house' for Country Home Magazine which was displayed at KBIS {Kitchen & Bath Industry Show} a few years ago {see below}. She incorporated a full width curtain in the kitchen which was meant to be left open the majority of the time, but the mess could be easily hidden while dining or relaxing by the fireplace if needed. I love this idea!

And who knew plywood walls could look so chic?
