THE GUEST BEDROOM {wallpaper removal}

Just like the living room, the guest bedroom {aka my closet} had multiple layers of very old wallpaper, not to mention a lovely floral border along the ceiling. Last Friday night after a glass of vino, I walked by the bedroom and decided to tear off just one strip of wallpaper to see what might lie beneath...and sure enough there was another layer. My pinot buzz, along with some high-volume tunes motivated me to keep going, and soon enough I was surrounded by heaping piles wallpaper at my feet.

I can't take credit for removing the next layer of wallpaper {which was the hard part} or patching the old drywall, but together we've prepared this room for the next step...primer and paint.

See how excited Miguel was about this project {here}!

The room is now primed and ready for paint. Stay tuned for our color selection!

    1. Thanks! I have stripes on my mind, but our walls are so uneven it might not be the best idea.
