IN BRIGHT BLUE ROCKING CHAIRS
In the beginning of the summer a friend asked me if I give her beat-up and weathered rocking chairs a makeover. I was honored and happy to take on the challenge...and a challenge it was! The layers of old polyurethane were flaking off, the wood was discolored and the arms rests were a splintery, rough surface. But after a very aggressive sanding, the chairs were smooth {well, smooth enough} to prime and paint. These will be a great addition to her new deck and will tie in nicely with her cobalt blue umbrella.
